Her practice is quite unusual as she is a employee: most of GPs in France are self-employed.

The centre employs GPs, gynaecologist, dentist, nurses, psychologist, dietician, orthodontist.

She works from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Her patients are mostly immigrants and her practice includes a lot of geriatrics, chronic disease management, pediatrics.

Dr Isabelle E.-A. works in a "maison de santé pluridisciplinaire", which means that she works with other health professionals. She also have a reasearch and teaching activity at the university of Tours.

 

She is located in Athée-sur-Cher, in the Indre-et-Loire department: nearby is the "vallée de la Loire" with numerous and famous castles like Chambord, you can also fine a lot of wines and magnificent rolling countryside.

I'm a young General Practitioner (GP) working in Millau. I work in a "medical house" where 20 healthcare professionals work. Among them, 5 GPs. 

 

My practice is very diversified : Pediatrics, gynecology, geriatrics... I pay house calls every day and also in elder people institutions. I also work in a family planning clinic where I practice interruption of pregnancy by medication and contraception. 

 

Millau is 111km away from Montpellier, the closest main city.

A GP practice in a tourist area, 30 kms far from Perpignan;

working with his wife (she’s a family doctor but also an acupuncturist, and homeopath),  their office is in the centre of Banyuls sur mer.

"I consider myself as a rural GP, and I have good relations with private nurses, chiropodists, physiotherapists.

Every week, I go to Perpignan, and I support and cure homeless people in an emergency homeless association called Solidarité 66.

I work 5 days/week, and I start at 6AM, and stop at 8PM, but I consider my rhythm is not a student rhythm.

3 GPs who work together in a rural "medical home" in Neufchatel-en-Bray, next to Rouen in Haute Normandie. 

They work like in a health center with nurses, a dietetician, a doctor specialized in working conditions and a dentist.

 

They all work with GP department in Rouen's university as teachers and host french GPs every 6 month. 

 

They are "old" french hosts for Hippokrates exchanges (since they've hosted them since more than 2009) and are always very pleased to host young GPs from all over Europe. 

 

Dr Stéphane Bord

Dr Bord is a GP in a rural place named Le petit Quevilly, next to Rouen, Haute-Normandie.

He also practices in Infectiology department of Rouen Hospital. 

He is part of the Rouen's university GP training and hosts  french residents every 6 months for their GP rotation.

 

He prefers hosting visitors who can speak french fluently.
