The EYFDM transformation obviously takes more time than hoped. We are still in the process of finding our new logo. The new website is publicly accessible via www.eyfdm.eu or www.eyfdm.org, but - due to the logo/design missing - still in the process of generation.

Wonca Europe Conference in London is just about over and it's about time to gradually adjust all publications towards our new Name . You will still see the old logo hanging around everywhere as our new logo is currently under development and your suggestions are always welcome.

Today Council and Exec gathered for an online meeting prior to the approaching f2f meeting in London. Thanks to everyone in attendace for spending your precious summertime for the Benefit of VdGM /EYFDM.

The VdGM Executive Board have two upcoming vacancies: President Elect and WONCA Europe Liaison. Elections will be held at the Council Meeting in June (final date to be confirmed). The elections organisational policy can be found here (this outlines the process, eligibility critera and required documents).

The situation in Ukraine, with absolute disregard for human safety and democracy, is deeply saddening to us. The fear Ukrainians must be experiencing now cannot be imagined by most of us, not to mention the danger they are facing. This is made so much worse knowing that these actions are unnecessary, and unwanted by the vast majority.

We have an open position for the Emergency Medicine SIG Lead, as Elena Klusova will be stepping down shortly to support and continue motivating us from the position of Chair of WONCA Special Interest Group on Emergency Medicine. We thank her for all her revolutionary passion, energy, and all the hard work!

VdGM STARTS A SUBSIDY PILOT FOR LOWER-MIDDLE and UPPER-MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES

We have an open position for the Family Violence SIG Lead, as Nina Monteiro will sadly be stepping down shortly. We thank her for all her hard work!

VdGM Family Violence SIG is a vibrant group focused on improving understanding and awareness around issues of violence against women and intimate partner violence.

After extensive discussion we VdGMians decided to raise our voice for our young Portuguese colleagues who face possible FM training degradation.
